NP5 Prisma MK2 is the network player for everyone, incorporating all the functionality found in our award winning Prisma enabled models. In addition to control of network connected hard drives, Prisma includes AirPlay 2, Bluetooth^®, Roon Ready, and Spotify Connect^®, and features Chromecast built-in, a unique streaming portal allowing effortless direct connection to hundreds of streaming applications and services, including voice control, for the best possible performance and user experience.

The Prisma technology bundle was created to allow everyone in the household to explore, discover, and share the deeply satisfying experience of high-performance music playback – providing multi-room/multi-zone connectivity and control of stored and streamed media, whether wired or wireless, all managed from mobile devices through familiar streaming service applications and the Prisma system control app.

Specifically designed to be small enough to slip inconspicuously into any system setup, NP5 Prisma MK2 can be used with any product with a digital input, both stereo and home cinema systems, Primare or other brands, to provide full Prisma stereo network music player connectivity and control, making it the network player for anyone and any system.

NP5 Prisma also allows for volume adjustment, mute, standby and input selection for previous Primare models with RS232 inputs, using the comprehensive Prisma application.

Multi-room / Multi-Zone

Prisma is a bundle of technologies that provides the broadest range of network music player features and functionality – and provides multi-room / multi-zone connectivity and control options for both stored and streamed media, whether wired or wireless, all managed from mobile devices through familiar streaming service applications and the Prisma system control app.

Music service connection and control platforms that work in parallel to the Prisma application include AirPlay 2*, Bluetooth^®, Chromecast built-in, Roon Ready*, and Spotify Connect^®, for effortless connection around the home to hundreds of streaming applications and services, including voice control, for the best possible performance and user experience.

Roon Ready

Roon transforms the experience of browsing music. Artist photos, credits, bios, reviews, lyrics, tour dates, and composers are located automatically, then interconnected by links to build a surfable, searchable digital magazine about your music collection.

And Roon finds all the same links between your personal files and the millions of tracks available on TIDAL and Qobuz, so you can start with the music you know, then explore and discover new music from the world beyond your collection.

Modularity and System Building

We feel it is essential to offer modularity whenever possible in order to have just the right features, both now and for the future. Modular design is featured in the I25 and I35 integrated amplifiers, as well as the PRE35 preamplifier, all of which can be updated with DAC and Prisma modules, as well as the CD35 CD player that can have the Prisma module added, either at the time of purchase or at a later date. As a result, we are able to offer a carefully considered array of models and configurations in order to allow for device selection that best fits any system need. And while not strictly modular, the NP5 Prisma MK2 is in effect a module for adding Prisma network music player capability to any system that has a digital input.
